Marine Corp Mud Run
18 09 2004 Bruce teamed up with Dale Long and Derek Ard to compete in the Law Enforcement category of the 11th annual USMC “MudRun”. The four mile course consisted of a cross country run interspersed with Military style obstacles, such as culvert pipes, cargo nets, six foot walls, rope assisted climbs and mud pits. Competing as team 15th Circuit combine, their overall time was 46:20 which posted first in the Police category and fifth
fastest of 173 teams. The team was surprised to see that in reviewing the
results they has beaten a “Navy Seal” team by 11 minutes!
