Plotting UTM’s
6 12 2006Many racers either require this skill beforehand, or sometimes on the fly in the middle of the race. A common theme will be the race director handing a list of UTM coordinates for Checkpoints, firing the starting gun and let the plotting begin. Most opt to plot most if not all of their checkpoints in the comfort of the start area in controlled weather conditions. Being skilled at plotting speeds this process up and increases your odds at locating your checkpoints.
